In my own life, when something happens and I long to know........ Her mission is to share her own experiences to inspire change and happiness in the lives of all. Great benefits are gained when you have stopped striving toward a goal, and you are no longer thinking about something that you put great effort into attempting to achieve previously. I think one men out of ten replies to a message if I contact them first.

Although some of us have great metabolisms, the rest of us have to work out and eat healthy to stay in shape. We are infatuated with who we should be dating or when we should be dating. You put yourself out there time and time again.

when least expected

Meanwhile, my bad dating stories continued to outweigh the good ones. And the phrase has stuck around. It turns out there is no such size, in t-shirts or in life. Sometimes we pray, debate, bang fists, do everything we can think of to get what we want. The truth is this: There is no magic fairy dust to getting what you want. Self-help books, karma and the law of attraction can give you a couple of tips but no guarantees. Maybe being grateful for what you have is one way you can deal. I love to plan. Amena Brown Owen As a poet, speaker, author, and event host Amena Brown Owen was named one of the top 40 under 40 changemakers. She is the author of two spoken word CDs and non-fiction book Breaking Old Rhythms. Make sure to follow along on for regular updates. Thank you so much for this. I have no bad date stories. Actually, I have no date stories at all. It has to me. But the passing of time and odds can test this trust. Here was my lesson. Right near my farm. Here, on the edge of Timbucknowhere. A VERY GOOD man. Now he lived out of state. I dropped my bags. I muttered incoherently for an hour. God, literally, took my breath away. God had done this. BOY, can He flex. Got lost on the drive. It was a BANQUET. We were escorted to the front of the line. Seated at a table. Special name tags were placed on us. Caught up in the mass of goodness. We were underdressed and had no clue this goodness was coming. And remember, Michelle, what I give you, I give gladly. I know your name. No poverty at that table. I hear you and I love you. Then a year and a half passed and among the quiet dynamics I spoke my mustard seed prayer again. This time, alone, in my car, at the steering wheel. A nod to His goodness. A lover of Jesus. Doing good life work. I just spoke it into the windshield. I think he lives states away, but for some reason, 2 days after my prayer, he is literally in my town eating lunch! Right next door to where I work. Shared parking lot even. Thank God, He rattles our cages! And then opens them. Flexing for His children. But still need to memorize. We can expect His goodness in unexpected ways and times. Boy, that kind of laughter really blesses God. Where belief and surrender to a very good God meet. Amena, I love your writing style. It flows in a way I can follow. Thanking God for your poetic heart.

As in, you have to do some print. I have plenty of friends who complain that they desperately want to meet someone but their actions do not support that statement, which leaves me wondering if they really want to meet someone. In a similar manner, writers and when you least expect it meaning often find that they form their greatest ideas when they are daydreaming. The same way they do now. Sometimes we walk into that bar knowing everything about the guy and are already pretty much into him unless things go horribly wrong, of course, and you just never know. We update our resumes, social and spend hours hunting online for a good job. Nonetheless, recognize that you also need to throw the energy of want that you have created to the wind. But until then, focus on the present and make the most of it. So keep watch at all caballeros, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man. Then a year and a half passed and among the quiet dynamics I spoke my mustard seed prayer again. Therefore be ye also anon; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
